Update On Santa's Health Status

  • Playing: The Sims 2
Santa (aka my great grandfather) is in ICU for internal bleeding. Neither the local hospital and the VA (the veteran's hospital) can figure out why. They ran some tests today, and they'll be running more tomorrow. He's in his 80s and is not really the healthiest man (diabetes, high cholesterol, heart problems, blind, etc.), so....

Damnit.

Update: He has cancer in his small intestine...

A close family friend died yesterday (Wednesday), too.

And now my grandfather, the one I live with, has to get another stint placed in his heart. He'll be going to Pittsburgh for the surgery on June 2nd.

Why does all of this have to pile up at once?
